AI-Generated EAs / AI-Assisted Coding Tools- With the rise of AI coding tools (ChatGPT, MQL copilots, code generators, etc.), FundingTraders is introducing a dedicated policy to ensure traders maintain full responsibility over automated systems.
AI-Generated EAs Are Allowed Under These Conditions1. Full Understanding of the Code Traders must have complete knowledge of how the EA works, including:
- The strategy it uses, Entry/exit logic, Risk parameters and Any background functions (loops, conditions, timers, hidden logic)
- Using an AI-generated EA without understanding its structure or behavior is strictly prohibited.
1. Trader Must Be the Actual Developer Even if AI assists in writing the code, the trader must:
- Participate in its creation, Review the entire final code, understand how the EA behaves in real-time conditions and be capable of explaining the EA if the Risk Team requests clarification
Minimum Volume Weighted Average Holding Time (VWHT)- Traders must hold positions for a realistic period (VWHT of at least 2 minutes weighted by trade volume). Practices that involve fleeting trades or HFT methods are not allowed
- VWHT = [Sum (Holding Time x Trade Volume)] / Sum (Trade volume)
Inactivity Period- A 30-day inactivity rule applies to both the Challenge and Funded stages. This period begins on the day the account is purchased, not from the date of the last activity. Any violation is considered a hard breach.
Grid Trading- Grid trading is a strategy where traders place multiple buy and sell orders at various price levels above and below the current market price, this strategy is prohibited.
Reverse Trading Policy- Taking directly opposite trades in multiple accounts, whether under your name or someone elseโs is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Strategies- Overleveraging, Overexposure One-sided Trading, Account Rolling/Stacking, and HFT on Funded accounts are prohibited.

Rules for accounts Flagged under Risk Management Group- Funding Traders will monitor account activity to identify risk heavy behaviors and place account flagged under risk management group. Here are the key behaviors that may trigger risk reviews:
- Account under the risk management group will have a reduce leverage of up to 1:30 depending on the asset class and also the maximum risk per trade idea will be 1%.
- Accounts will be returned to standard leverage and normal trading conditions after 2 successful payouts, given these conditions:

--- INSTANT FUNDING MODELSMinimum Trading Days- 5 Profitable trading days in 30 days with 0.25% profit each day. The 30 days period restart after every payout, if no payout occurs, it automatically restarts after 30 days from the date of your first trade in the current period.
News Trading- Trading (holding, opening/closing a trade) is Restricted 5 Minutes before/after High impact News. Violation is a hard breach
Weekend Holding/Trading (For Crypto)- Prohibited: All trades must be closed at least one hour before market close on Friday. Violation is a hard breach.
Max lot limit- 20 lot limit per trade, Violation leads to immediate account Termination
Biggest Loss MUST NOT EXCEED Biggest Win- The value of your single largest losing trade must not exceed your single largest winning trade. If you violate this, you will have to continue trading until your biggest win exceeds your biggest loss.
Maximum risk- Maximum risk is 1%. Your floating PnL must not fall below -1% of your initial account balance relative to your current balance.
3% Safety Cushion- The first 3% profit in the account is not withdrawable, as it serves as an allowance for your daily loss limit. This 3% allowance is calculated relative to the total account size, not just your current profits.

- Funded Accounts: News trading is allowed, but no more than 30% of total profits can come from trades influenced by high-impact news (otherwise payouts are delayed until the percentage drops below the limit).
- A trade counts as a "News Trade" if it is opened, held, or closed 5 minutes before/after high impact news release affecting the asset. Exception for Pro accounts: Trades held open for more than 5 hours before the news release are not automatically classified as News Trades (still subject to the overall 30% profit cap).
Maximum Risk Per Trade Idea (Funded Phase Only)- Maximum Risk per trade idea = 2% of the initial account balance.
- Trades on the same symbol and direction opened together or reopened within 2 minutes count as one idea; trades on different symbols or opposite directions are separate ideas.
--- UNIVERSITY MODELGuidelines- Phase 1 is free โ no payment needed to begin.
- To unlock Phase 2, the evaluation fee must be paid first.
- Only one University Phase 1 account is allowed per user at any time.
- A user is allowed to open a new University account only once every 2 weeks.
- If a user is detected operating multiple profiles, this will result in immediate account termination and a permanent ban
- Complete your payment within 3 days after finishing Phase 1. Otherwise, account will be marked as invalid.
