Verification Methodology
We believe in transparency. This page outlines how PFLedger collects, verifies, and classifies data.
Data Collection
Our automated systems and human verifiers observe public offers from proprietary trading firms. When an offer is seen, it is recorded in our ledger with a timestamp.
Definitions
- Last Verified: The timestamp when our system last successfully confirmed the existence of a promotion or firm status.
- Recently Observed: Data that has been verified within our configurable threshold (typically the last 7 days). This indicates high confidence in current availability.
- Not Recently Observed: Data that exists in our historical ledger but hasn't been re-verified recently. These promotions may still work, but our confidence is lower.
Disclaimer on Availability
Because we operate as an observational registry, we record what we see. However, Prop Firms may change their terms, expire codes, or alter conditions at any time without notifying us.
Observation Only: A record in PFLedger is proof that a promotion was observed at a specific time. It is NOT a guarantee of future validity.
